Colourful Clown.
1. Feet - Draw around the template for shoes onto a coloured piece of
foamtastic. Use a black permanent marker to draw on laces.
2. Use a 12mm cchenille stem to make a hoop and glue down to the foam
shoes to form his trousers (use a low temperature glue gun).
3. Body - Use a polystyrene ball and cover in tissue paper, gluing down
securely. Cut off excess at the base and glue down into the hoop made in
step 2.
4. Arms - Take another 12mm chenille stem, cut in half and bend both
halves into hoops. Pierce a hole into each side of the body (where arms
would be placed), and push the ends of the chenille into it firmly. Use
pom poms for hands and glue onto the ends of the arms. Decorate the body
with pom poms for buttons.
5. Collar - using a template for the collar, cut our a piece of felt
and gue to the top of the body.
6. Head - Glue wobbly eyes, small pom poms for nose and cheeks and a
mouth (made from half a pre-cut foam circle) onto a large pom pom to make
the head. Glue into the middle of the head.
7. Hair - the hair is made from 3 medium sized pom poms which are glued
to the top of the head. Right - Make up somple birds using pom poms,
feathers, felt and chenille!
